You may have excessive skin and fat around the mid section, either due to changes in weight or pregnancy. Tummy Tuck or abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure carried out to remove the excess wrinkled skin and fatty tissue from the abdomen and to tighten abdominal muscles. The overall effect is to produce a flatter tummy.

The operation is carried out under general anesthesia and may be performed in a hospital or outpatient facility. We cater for such procedures with surgeries performing abdominoplasty California and facilities to cater for abdominoplasty New York City.

Although there will be some soreness and discomfort, your surgeon can prescribe medications to make you feel more comfortable. You should avoid strenuous activity for three to four weeks after a tummy tuck. Resumption of activities will be discussed with you by your cosmetic surgeon.

Tummy tuck , though a major operation, is generally very satisfying. The scar across the lower abdomen is placed so that it is easily camouflaged. There are risks in any surgical procedure. You should discuss all the benefits, risks, costs and results with your cosmetic surgeon.

While appearance is the main reason for the procedure, but it could also be done to alleviate problems with restless legs, aching, burning or cramps. Spider vein treatment is most often done with a saline or chemical solution that is injected into the vein, irritating the lining and causing the vein to collapse and disappear. But in some cases, laser treatment may also be used for spider vein removal. Please make sure to ask your qualified doctor about the cost, risks and the expected results.

LIPOSUCTION

Introduced in the U.S. in the early 1980s, liposuction is a cosmetic surgery technique developed by cosmetic surgeons to remove stubborn fat deposits that don't respond to dieting and exercise. These fatty bulges are most commonly found in the thighs, hips, abdomen, buttocks, knees, ankles, calves and arms. They are also found in the facial areas such as the chin, cheeks, jowls and neck. Facial procedures are assisted with the use of fat transfer or a fat injection. This fat injection is used in enhancing cosmetic surgery and is a method of fat transfer from typically the abdomen area to the facial area.

Liposuction can be performed alone or in conjunction with other cosmetic surgery procedures such as a tummy tuck, buttock lift, facelift, chin augmentation or butt augmentation to achieve the desired result, this is sometimes referred to as liposculpture.

The best candidates for liposuction or liposculpture are healthy men and women with good skin elasticity and realistic expectations for liposuction improvement. The fatty bulges should be localized to a few areas and the individual should be near their ideal body weight. Cellulite, or waffled skin, will not be cured by liposuction.

It is natural for women, in particular, to accumulate fatty deposits on the hips, buttocks and abdomen, procedures such as butt augmentation or a buttock lift can also assist with these problem areas. Fat in men tends to accumulate around the mid-section. Some men may also experience gynecomastia, or enlarged breasts.

Liposuction can improve the appearance of men and women of all ages while boosting self esteem. This procedure is not for obese people. It is not meant to replace good eating and exercise habits, or to counter obesity, however, liposuction can offer help to remove unwanted fatty deposits in many areas of the body. Your cosmetic surgeon will discuss your condition to see if liposuction is right for you.

There Are Risks and a chance of complications in all Surgical Procedures
Liposuction or liposculpture is a very popular procedure that is a normally safe and effective method of removing excess fat. Like all surgery, any cosmetic surgery involves some level of risk. To help ensure a successful outcome, the patient should be a good candidate, the surgeon should be well-trained in liposuction techniques, the surgical facility should be properly equipped and the patient should follow the doctor's instructions and advice. Although you'll be mobile immediately following your liposuction surgery, you will want to arrange for someone to drive you home after surgery and to help out around the house for a day or so.

Although an overwhelming majority is performed on an outpatient basis, some extensive liposuction procedures may require a brief hospital stay. Depending on the extent of your liposuction, your cosmetic surgeon may use a general anesthesia, where you will be fully-asleep during the surgery. Newer liposuction techniques, such as tumescent liposuction involve injecting the area to be suctioned with a special fluid/anesthesia combination prior to suctioning. The fluid constricts the surrounding blood vessels, making the procedure nearly bloodless, while minimizing the pain. The rest of procedure is performed in the same way as traditional liposuction.
